Admins and franchise owners can upload 6–12 months of branch history when the Historical Data add-on (+£12/branch/month) is enabled. Branch managers can view findings but cannot upload files.
Only .csv, .xls and .xlsx. Images and PDFs belong in EOD, not Historical Data. Multiple files are allowed when your POS exports daily, transaction and product sales separately.
Do not include weather, football matches or event tags in the workbook. Reco Genie enriches every business date automatically from the branch location. Do not upload customer names, emails, phone numbers, card details or delivery addresses — those columns are ignored.
Required: business_date. Provide net_sales where available (or gross_sales). Include currency once per upload. branch_reference is required only for multi-branch files.
Recommended: vat_amount, total_orders, refunds, discounts, closed_flag. Optional channel and order-type columns include dine-in, collection, delivery, direct online, Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat.
Include item revenue (gross_item_sales / net_item_sales), not quantities alone. Also capture transaction ID, date/time, SKU, name, category, discounts, refunds, channel, order type and modifiers where available.
