What is Reco Genie Insights?
Reco Genie Insights helps restaurant operators understand what changed, why it matters and what to do next at every location. It combines five intelligence engines in one practical operating view.
What are the five intelligence engines?
Sales Intelligence, Review Intelligence, Social Media Intelligence, Competitor Pulse and Forecast & Event Intelligence.
What is Social Media Intelligence?
It is one of the five Insights engines—not a separate product. It examines verified public business accounts, public engagement patterns, local conversations, content themes and event-related opportunities. It does not access private competitor accounts, posts or messages.
What information is used in the free report?
Relevant public information, local conditions, your selected restaurant location and the operating details you confirm. Every finding identifies its evidence type, freshness and confidence.
Why do you verify the operating company?
Verification confirms that the company operates the restaurant location and protects private branch information before subscription details and dashboard access are shown.
How is restaurant data handled?
Private restaurant information is separated from public signals and shown only to authorised account users. Data collection follows transparency and data-minimisation principles.
Do I need Morag to use Insights?
No. Reco Genie Insights and Morag are separate products. Morag activity can provide an additional signal when the products are connected.
What is Morag?
Morag is Reco Genie’s voice assistant for restaurant calls, customer questions, orders and table bookings.
Is there an API?
API access is in development and is not currently available. Upcoming APIs are intended to surface selected forecasts, signals and branch actions inside restaurant-group mobile apps, staff portals and internal systems. Features and timing may change.
Is Historical Data Upload required?
No. It is an optional add-on for restaurants with previous POS, Excel or CSV trading information. Insights works normally without it.
